Art Deco dining table by French designers Adolphe Chanaux (1887-1965) & Gilbert Pelletier. Chanaux is famed for his association with Jean-Michel Frank with whom he worked with from 1931 until Frank's death in 1941.
Stamped 'CP' to underside.
Constructed from Walnut and inlayed with ebonised wood and ivory (ivory exemption reference: 6KHL3G71). The table no longer has it's extendable centre leaf.
